Prof. Dake is a distinguished academic, computer engineer, and tech entrepreneur whose work is shaping the future of computing and Artificial Intelligence in Africa.

Prof. Dake currently serves as an Associate Professor of Computing and Information Technology and is the Head of the Department of ICT Education at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW). Achieving the rank of Associate Professor at just 36, he is recognized as one of the youngest in Ghana to reach this milestone.

Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from KNUST, his expansive research focuses on:

He is also a Microsoft Certified Educator, an AI Policy Fellow at Lawyers Hub, and an Institutional Grant Lead for the Google.org–FATE Foundation–AIMS Africa AI Upskilling Programme.

Prof. Dake perfectly embodies the intersection of deep technical expertise and entrepreneurial success. Beyond his academic achievements, he is the founder and CEO of Jobweb Africa, a leading job aggregator platform operating in eight African countries including Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria.

He serves on multiple boards, including the Academic Advisory Council of Mogaland Academy and the Board Chair of Innville Foundation, actively promoting innovation and youth entrepreneurship.
